around here...

Hello! In the last month, my hubby and I have been working on some things to update our yard and deck. Company has been our summer game and we have more coming! So our main priority has been trying to make our outdoor space accommodating for a large group of folks. Plus now the plants are in full bloom so everything is looking a lot prettier around here! 

For the summer, there's no place I'd rather be than drinking coffee on the deck...

 We just picked up this gazebo on a sale, and we are absolutely loving it. It fits on our deck just perfect and the sun is no longer glaring in our eyes when we're trying to enjoy a meal. Plus I can add a little personality outside...hence the light! I feel like the gazebo still needs some personal touches to make it a little more "me" but for the time being we are loving it!

Hubby and I also worked on building these benches (plans found on Ana White) and fixed our table top by fixing 2x6's together. And I added a fresh coat of spray paint to the table frame and legs :) 

 Updated these planters with some red spray paint! Is there anything better than spray paint?!?

 My wonderful mom helped me put this garden bed together at the front of our house...I just absolutely love it! Hostas have my heart forever....

Time to enjoy a coffee on the deck :) Happy Tuesday everyone!
