 Hello!

November is half-way thru and Christmas is on it's way! This honestly is one of my favourite times of the year. Yesterday the kiddos and I pulled out our Christmas decor and add a few touches here and there to our home.....which turned out to be a much more chaotic endeavour than I anticipated....but I do appreciate their enthusiasm! Our family tradition is to go find our big, green, Christmas tree on December 1st, so until then it's twig trees, ornaments, and sparkly lights. This is going to be a different Christmas for us Houston's....it's our first Christmas not travelling or hosting. I'm excited to have a family of five Christmas! Plus visit all the rest of our families before and after Christmas :)

My plan this week is to head to the local greenhouse and pick up some greens to make wreaths....maybe one for every door in the house! Isn't this one just so simple and pretty?!

No, my husband's night stand is not always totally cleaned off....and now I feel as though I should have put something on it! Our own Christmas tree :) 

And this guy seriously makes my day! 

Things in this room seem to continually be changing or being moved to a different part of the house but for now I feel as though it's pretty winter cozy...with a few glitzy Christmas touches.
