M&Kproject before/after

Hello Hello!

Well....I did not realize it's been almost a full year since I have written a blog post...Yikes! But I don't think there's a better way to get back in to blogging than with this amazing transformation that I worked on last year.

I met with Mark and Kristine in May, and throughout the rest of 2016 and into January of this year, we pieced the living room and front entryway together. It was so exciting for me to go back and look at the "before" pictures and see the transformation. So here we go!

Isn't this change so exciting?!?! Using different patterns/fabrics/layering rugs/adding a bench and mirror made this entryway beautiful and functional.   Changing the lighting in the wall cutout feature was such an exciting change. Love that the light now adds a little glitz and sparkle and interest to this feature.  

Next came the Living Room....Before:

I love how this whole space came together. We added textures/patterns/colour/plants/and interesting elements to create a cozy space filled with personality. With each piece we picked and debated on, I wanted Mark & Kristine to love it, and we ended up creating a space that is filled with elements and pieces that they love....which is what makes this space feel cozy and homey. It was definitely a process, but it made the end result so much more worth it.

It was such a pleasure and a joy to work with Mark & Kristine. I loved working on this transformation with them!

Hopefully this before/after will brighten up this very wintery/blustery March day for you!

And maybe I'll be able to post a little more often than once a year ;)
