monday decorating
Happy Monday!
We are in full swing rearranging and organizing in our house! Which means our current situation is heaps of disorganized mess as we try and purge and re-organize. Our main project is setting up the kiddos bedrooms as we did a bunch of switching around, and for the time being the beds are set-up. So hopefully within the next month I can show you the before and afters (with everything in it's organized, proper place)!
For today I thought I would share a few of my Christmas presents/shopping finds that have found a place in our home.
It has been so cold here. -30 would seem warm it seems... but I was able to find this chevron patterned rug to add some extra warmth and coziness to our living room area. I absolutely LOVE it. Honestly the textures in this photo just make me so happy...
Because we moved our son out of his baby room and into a toddler-style room I moved the rocking chair out and wasn't quite sure where to put it....so I decided to add it to the living room scene. It's an heirloom from my mom and dad and it adds so much character to our living room space.
My beautiful sister, Dani, got this amazing home decor book for me for my birthday...I could spend hours browsing through it and gathering ideas for my own home. I also found this horse head at Winners, something I've been looking for for awhile....I just haven't found the perfect spot for it yet.
I also received this jewelry holder from Dani and it's adding so much beauty to my bedroom dresser.
Lastly, my father and mother-in-law got me this awesome yellow clock for Christmas. Right now it sits in my bedroom but I'm hoping to find the perfect place for it where it can be shown off a bit!
