welcome 2015

Hello there and welcome to my blog! The new year seems like an appropriate time to begin this new adventure :)

I was debating whether I wanted to keep it strictly to a business portfolio type blog or add personal experiences into it.....but I'm not sure if I can create this space without showing you what my life and home are like, so I guess I have decided to add personal touches to it! My goal and vision for this space is to document and create a professional portfolio, and also to inspire and and find the beauty in the everyday occurrences and experiences. It's the everyday that can make our lives beautiful.

So for the next month I hope to show you the changes that we will be making in our home! My baby is turning 2 in two days (happiness and tears!) which marks a shift in our home. There will be no more cribs. Everyone will be in actual beds. It feels like this is going to be a huge event in our lives! So for the next month we will be changing bedrooms and creating new spaces for our children...I am so excited to tackle these projects!

This month I would also like to finish my Interior Design course (YAY!) and start working on officially getting my business off the ground. Needless to say, it is going to be a busy month, full of change and (hopefully!) fun! 

So here's to a new year....
